Outdoor weddings are just so breathtaking, but outdoor weddings on the water…so dreamy!!

It was announcing rain all day on Kate & Luc’s special day. When we arrived to the groom’s mom’s house to shoot the boys, it was raining and the waves were crashing onto the rocks on shore. But for some miraculous reason, the wind just pushed all the rain clouds away from the ceremony location, and what an amazing day it turned out to be!

When we arrived to her mom’s, the girls were so excited. Dressed in stunning deep red dresses, they were ready for their bestie to get married. Kate was in this jaw-dropping delicate lace dress with the most amazing cathedral veil. They all helped her with finishing touches before making their way outside to the ceremony. Mom worked so hard ensuring all was perfect, and it all just came together beautifully.

They exchanged vows in the most magical setting. Luscious greens on property, succulent flower arrangements along the aisle, and the view of Lake Erie just made it the ultimate destination for a wedding. After the I-do’s, Kate wanted photos on the water. Waves were rolling onto shore, Kate’s veil flying perfectly in the wind, it felt fairytale-like.
