It just amazes me how perfect this day went for Jessica and Greg. It was supposed to rain all day, and to our utter amazement, it literally held up till evening on this cool October day. Guests were bundled up under cozy blankets and snuggled up as they smiled and listened to the couples’ heartfelt vows under the wooden arch at Sprucewood Estate’s winery.

You see… this was a big deal to the couple. Sprucewood was the bride’s number one choice location, but they had originally booked with a different venue. Then, my heart just melted when the groom called us one day to change their wedding date to a Friday as he wanted to assure that his bride would get the ceremony location of her dreams. So when the rain held up on this fall blustery day, we were so happy for them.

The groom instructed us and the officiant that he did not want to be turned around until the bride was a few just feet away from the alter. As Jessica walked down the long aisle, the reverend grinned and asked Greg to turn around to greet his bride, the anticipation got our groom so choked up and pulled on all of our heart strings.

The rest of the day was time to let loose. They were so happy and were so excited to be celebrating and cutting some rug with all their close family and friends. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery, we wish you a lifetime of sweet moments together!!!
